The Installation Ceremony of ISPAB held
The Installation Ceremony of ISPAB, the national organization of internet service providers of Bangladesh is being held in a splendid manner. The program started with the national anthem at 7 pm on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital. Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Mostafa Jabbar and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak are present as the chief guest and Special Guest at the ceremony.
Election Board Chairman Nazrul Islam Babu, Postal and Telecommunications Secretary Md. Khalilur Rahman and BTRC Chairman Shyam Sundar Sikder are also present on the occasion.
Earlier, registration started at the venue in the afternoon. Invited guests and members are registered by name and mobile number. At that time they were given a special card from 5 booths. The visiting guests entered the venue by collecting the admission card by showing this ID card. At this time they are greeted with a bouquet of flowers in their hands.
Before entering the ceremony, one can see a long rectangular stand with the logo of all the member organizations. IIG and NTTN organizations were outside the main stage.
On December 11, Team Forward won the full panel election of the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) 2021-2023 Executive Council. Then on 13th December in Banani, a post-distribution election was held in the ISPAB Secretariat among 9 directors from the general member category and 4 directors from the associate member category.
In the election, the elected persons were: Imdadul Haque, President; Saiful Islam Siddique of ICC Communications, Senior Vice-president; Md. Anwarul Azim, Chittagong Telecom Services Limited became the vice-president.
Md. Abdul Qayyum Rashed of Triangle Services Limited was elected joint secretary general-1 and Mohammad Anwar Hossain of Sun Online was elected joint secretary general-2, Md. Asaduzzaman of Ontorongo.com Ltd. has been elected as the Treasurer.
Directors are - Md. Zakir Hossain of Unified Core Limited; Mahbub Alam of Circle Network; Safiq Ahmed of Infolink Limited, AM Kamal Uddin Ahmed Selim of BCS Online Services; Fayad Muhammad Sharfuddin of Fisa Communications and Md. Nasir Uddin of Speed Tech Online.
